Political Science
The Department of Public and International Affairs offers both an MA and PhD in Political Science. The graduate programs in Political Science encompass American, international, and comparative politics.
The degrees will prepare students for advanced work in political science, teaching and research in government and international relations, careers in government and politics, and work in domestic and international non-governmental and inter-governmental organizations.
Graduate Polictical Science Society
The Graduate Political Science Society (GPSS) was established to provide a voice for graduate students in the political science program and enhance the graduate experience through the programming of academic events and social activities. The GPSS also provides auxiliary student advising and student advocacy capacities.
