Jennifer Bowie

Research interests: Judicial politics, U.S. Supreme Court and U.S. Courts of Appeals decision making and interactions, strategic behavior

Dr. Jennifer Bowie is currently an Assistant Professor at George Mason University in the Department of Public and International Affairs. Currently she teaches Judicial Process and Constitutional Law: Civil Rights and Liberties.  Dr. Bowie is also the faculty advisor for the Pi Sigma Alpha chapter.  Dr. Bowie’s research interests focuses on decision making in the federal judiciary, specifically U.S. Courts of Appeals and Supreme Court interactions. 

Dr. Jennifer Bowie received her Ph.D in Political Science from the University of South Carolina (2008) and her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Vermont (2000).
