George Mason's proximity to the nation's capital provides a wide array of opportunities for internships, networking, future employment. The curriculum prepares students for positions of leadership in goverment, public agencies, non-profits, and the private sector. Students' internship and post-graduate experiences include placement in offices of the federal government, private contracting firms, international organizations, embassies, political campaigns, and lobbying or nonprofit organizations.

Pearlstein Wins Lifetime Achievement Award

Steven Pearlstein recently won a Gerald Loeb award for lifetime achievement in business and financial journalism. Pearlstein, a Washington Post business columnist and 2008 Pulitzer Prize winner, is the incoming Clarence J. Robinson Professor of Public and International Affairs.
